Sample Itinerary for Ministry Trips

Friday
  • Approximate departure time 8:00 a.m.
  • Eat lunch on the road.
  • Arrive in Juarez, Mexico around 4:00 p.m.
  • Check in at the Hotel Los Cedros.
  • Minister at the Orphanage.
  • Eat dinner in Juarez.
Saturday
  • Eat breakfast between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
  • Be ready to leave by 9:00 a.m.
  • Go to the baptism service at the park.
  • Eat Lunch.
  • Spend the afternoon ministering to the families.
  • Go to the chavida and minister to the families.
  • Eat dinner and return to the hotel.
Sunday
  • Eat breakfast between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
  • Be ready to leave by 9:15 a.m.
  • Go to church at Iglesia Peniel at 10:00 a.m.
  • Eat lunch at 3:00 p.m.
  • Go to the church at the Chavida. (Casual dress)
  • Eat dinner and return to the hotel.
Monday
  • Eat breakfast between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
  • Be ready to depart for Amarillo by 9:00 a.m.
  • Eat lunch on the road.
  • Arrive in Amarillo around 6:00 p.m
Please understand that all of these times are subject to change while in Mexico. Please be very flexible and understanding. There are times that it may take us longer to do something than we had planned but it always works out. Time is not the same in Mexico as it is here in the United States. Things are very relaxed and time is not an issue. Please be patient and just have fun. Also a little note . cell phones do not usually get good reception in Mexico. So if you will need to contact someone at home while in Mexico, we suggest purchasing a calling card before departure. They do come in handy sometimes. Orphanage Update
We are in the middle of the amazing instruction of the Lord to build an orphanage for 20 deserving children in Mexico! We are so excited, and cannot wait until it is ready to open and change the lives of children in Juarez! And with the help of so many of our supporters we have now completed the construction phase of the orphanage. We are now moving into the cosmetic and furnishing phases.
